Built-in 2019 specially for European Championships and was titled in the name of 2 times Olympic Champion - Maris Strombergs. The track is designed by French track builder company ProTracks. The track is located near local Olympic centre with the Football field and Ice Arena. Sits very close to the main road of Valmiera city. The track is unique with 3 starting gates - one being in the middle of 5m for shorter slope practice.
